Cártaí Comhrá Set

Our goal is to support and improve children's conversational and communicative skills both in the classroom and home setting. We have created a set of "Cártaí Comhrá" (Conversational) Cards for the middle classes.

The "Ceisteanna" (Questions) and "Freagraí" (Answers) are based on the themes from the primary curriculum and on the characters from the online SingFónaic programme. The methodology used is called "Agallamh Beirte" or Paired Dialogue.


a) Child A (Seán) poses the question and Child B (Síle) answers the question.

b) Child A (Seán) can flip the card around at the end of the Paired Dialogue and Child B (Síle) can pose the questions.

c) Child A (Seán) and Child B (Síle) can swap their card with another pair of children in the classroom when they have completed their "Cárta Comhrá".

Dimensions:
Approx. 20.8cm tall by 14.5cm wide for each card. Weight: Approx. 300g for 22 cards.

Description:
The full set of 22 laminated "Cártaí Comhrá" can be used in a classroom or home setting. Note that the cards can be used in conjunction with the online version.
